Ferghana region introduces “smart” water meters with the support of the Chinese company Inspur

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (Uzdaily.uz) - Hokim of the Ferghana Region Hairullo Bozorov held a meeting with representatives of the Chinese company “Inspur Smart Industry Group Co., LTD”, dedicated to promising projects in the field of water supply systems and the digitalization of water supply systems.

Representatives of the company noted that the intellectual water meter with support for the 4G network allows you to remotely control the water supply and automatically suspenses it in case of debt. In addition, water consumption will be displayed in the water supply system in real time, which ensures transparency of accounting.

Hokim emphasized the significance of the project, noting that in conditions of a shortage of water resources it was time to switch to automated control systems and enhance control over the quality and reliability of equipment. The project will become a “Ferghana pilot experience” for the production of “smart” water meters, while special attention will be paid to localization of production.

The possibilities of placing a project in the industrial technology park and information to investors about existing benefits and the advantages of the region were also discussed.

According to the results of the meeting, the parties agreed to accelerate the implementation of the project and proceed with the implementation of the agreements reached.
