$248 million will be allocated for the development of water supply in the Bukhara region

At present, a project worth $385 million is being implemented in the region with the participation of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank. Another $248 million is planned to be raised for its second stage.

As a result, water supply will improve for 1.7 million residents of the Bukhara region, and 775 thousand people will be connected to the sewer network. Coverage with centralized drinking water supply will increase from 80% to 95%.
